Over the course of 9 seasons The Office has definitely had it’s ups and downs, but the work that they put out this past season has been phenomenal. I’m never felt so emotionally drawn to a show before, but having followed the characters for the past 6 years I’ve been watching this show it was inevitable. People consistently say that it’s gone downhill after Steve Carell left, but I think Michael Schur’s writing has definitely matured over the course of The Office and Parks and Recreation and these past few seasons have still been strong. This season was excellent, with the revelation that the entire show is a documentary and the characters finding out about it, with the drama in the office, with the closing of all of our questions as the audience and getting to see old characters again. This episode was fantastic and I think this season proves the maturity of the writers, which I think is undoubtedly the show’s best. For those of you who stopped following, definitely watch a bit of the post-Michael Scott episodes; they’re fantastic.
Also, Dwight and Angela’s wedding and Erin finding her parents. OH MY GOODNESS, I’M SO HAPPY. Angela and Erin have easily been two of my favorite characters and just had the perfect endings :’)
